Department Mission:
Shari'a and Law Dept. seeks to graduate qualified and distinguished cadres in the field of Shari'a and legal sciences possessing knowledge, skills, and professional ethics, and are able to compete; by providing modern, advanced programs that keep pace with the characteristics of this era and its scientific and technological requirements, meeting the current, immediate, and future needs of society.
Department Goals
The department seeks to achieve the following objectives:
1- Enabling students to master the basic knowledge in the branches of Sharia and law that enable them to work in various legal and Shari'a fields.
2- Preparing qualified students to receive professional legal training, and enabling them to perform legal work and services according to the requirements of the labor market.
3 - Keeping abreast of developments in the field of legal and Sharia sciences.
4- Developing the analytical, research and intellectual skills for students of the Department of Sharia and Law.
5- Developing communication skills, self-confidence, and ability to express oneself and think critically.
6 - Close linkage between theory and practice to ensure that educational outcomes are used in actual legal reality.
7- Employing modern technological means in the educational process.
