Translation and scientific publishing unit
As Alsaeed university ensures that the scientific research is encouraged, the translation and scientific publishing unit was proposed to concern itself with the scientific research system so as to spread the culture of competition and excellence in field of international publishing, in addition to providing an appropriate environment that contributes to encouraging faculty members and students to conduct various researches in line with international standards that serves Al-Saeed University, the local community, as well as Hayel Saeed Anam Group. The unit works to create a database of classified research, updating it continuously, and supporting publishers in scientific journals indexed in the various databases.
The establishment of this unit came to meet the needs of the university in terms of converting academic courses into university books or translating books; be that they are scientific-based, humanities-based studies, or reference books after the approval of the department, the college concerned and finally the president of the university.
The Vision of the Unit:
Developing research performance at the level of Al-Saeed University and the other universities, through which the principle of the local and international leadership in research excellence is achieved.
The Mission of the Unit:
Providing a distinguished research environment among faculty members, which helps develop high-quality research and innovation skills.
The Objectives Unit:
1- Spreading the culture of excellence in the field of scientific research among faculty members and those on their behalf.
2- Providing Al-Saeed University library and other Yemeni universities with up-to-date references in Arabic and other languages.
3- Contributing to achieving the university's mission in developing research capabilities and supporting the translation and publishing movement in the university.
4- Caring about students’ graduation projects and scholarly research applicable to the Yemeni environment.
5- Providing editing, revision and proof-reading services for researches, books, theses, and statistical analyzes for various researches.
6- Developing the skills of faculty members and those with them in the field of scientific research.
7- Encouraging faculty members to write a university book according to the proposed standards.
8- Promoting the values of creativity, innovation and competition in the field of scientific publishing inside and/or outside the university.
9- Educating researchers and faculty members about the various ………….. and ……………. of scientific publishing.
10- Ensuring adherence to international standards of scientific publishing.
11- Uploading all publications or textbooks that have been issued to the Internet to ease access and referring to through the Scientific Publishing Unit link.
