Al-Saeed University discusses with Economic Development Initiatives Unit in Hayel Saeed Group the launch of joint programs

The President of Al-Saeed University, Professor Sameh Al-Areeqi, received in his office today the Executive Director of the Economic Development Initiatives Unit of Hayel Saeed Anam & Partners Group of Companies, Professor Adeeb Qassem, to discuss ways of cooperation and launch joint programs.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Waleed Al-Hajj, Director of Projects at the Unit, Mr. Sadiq Al-Jabri, Head of the Media and Communication Department, and Engineer Muheeb Al-Hakeemi, Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs.
During the meeting, future work plans were discussed to enhance economic development and support entrepreneurial initiatives, with a focus on opening new horizons for cooperation between the two sides to support university students, youth and local communities.
During the meeting, Professor Al-Areeqi stressed the importance of partnership with the group’s Economic Initiatives Development Unit to achieve common goals, noting that the university always seeks to enhance cooperation with other companies and various institutions to achieve sustainable development. He also expressed his aspiration to successfully implement joint programs in the coming years.
For his part, Professor Adeeb Qassem praised the pioneering role of Al-Saeed University in supporting economic and community initiatives, stressing the unit’s aspiration to strengthen this cooperation in a way that contributes to achieving development and innovation and discovering and supporting students’ talents. He explained that the programs to be implemented will include various fields that aim for promoting economic development in Yemen.
At the end of the meeting, Professor Al-Arerqi accompanied Professor Adeeb Qassem on a field tour within the university’s facilities, where he reviewed the facilities available to support the joint activities and programs.
It is worth noting that the Economic Initiatives Development Unit was established in 2022 AD, and works to promote economic and social development in Yemen through innovative solutions and strengthening partnerships between the private sector and academia. The unit focuses on the areas of food security, sustainable development, and supporting the private sector.
This visit comes as part of a series of coordination meetings between Al-Saeed University and Hayel Saeed Anam & Partners Group with the aim of developing joint strategic plans that contribute to supporting university students, youth and local communities to achieve sustainable development.
