Al-Saeed University launches the first engineering exhibition: a platform to display the creativity of the fifth batch’s graduation projects

In an exceptional and distinguished event, the first of its kind, Al Saeed University launched today the first engineering exhibition for the graduation projects of the fifth batch of the Department of Architectural Engineering. The President of the University, Professor Sameh Al-Areeqi, the Secretary of the University’s Board of Trustees, Professor Dr. Adam Al-Shameeri, and Engineer Waheeb Al-Hakeemi, Deputy Governor of Taiz for Technical Affairs, cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the exhibition.
The attendees toured around the exhibition, which included several corners, the most prominent of which was the projects corner, which displayed the creativity of students from the Department of Architecture at various levels, including the graduation projects of the fifth batch, which were distinguished by innovative designs and sustainable engineering solutions. In addition to various corners that included the foundations of design, free drawing, models, and pictures, which gave attendees the opportunity to explore the students’ skills and creativity. The attendees expressed great admiration for what they saw of the students’ creativity, which provided an opportunity for everyone to witness the students’ academic and professional development throughout their years of study. The exhibition witnessed a large presence of many prominent figures from various fields, including professional engineers, academics, representatives of engineering companies, and university students. It also received wide media coverage by local media.
The exhibition aims to highlight students’ creativity and distinguished projects that reflect their skills and knowledge acquired during their years of study and is an important step towards enhancing communication between students and the local engineering community.
The inauguration of the first engineering exhibition was attended by Dr. Hamid Al-Shameeri, Chairman of Al-Saeed Channel, Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Ali Abdul Rahman, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Engineer Abdul Aziz Al-Hammadi, Head of the Architectural Engineering Department, Engineer Sultan Al-Hakimi, President of the Engineers Syndicate, Engineer Mukhtar Al-Areeqi, Director General of Charitable Projects, and Abdul Hakim. Al-Shameeri, Director of Works, deans of colleges, heads of academic and administrative departments, and a large crowd of university students.
It is worth noting that the first day of the exhibition was for the inauguration and presentation of projects, and tomorrow, Sunday, the graduation projects of the fifth batch of students from the Department of Architecture will be discussed, which were characterized by their diversity and innovations
