Al-Saeed University is ranked 9th locally and 103rd in the Arab world in the Arab classification of universities for the year 2024 AD.

Today, Thursday, December 19, 2024, the results of the Arab classification of universities for the year 2024 were announced, in which 373 Arab universities participated and 180 universities completed their data ( double number of universities that applied for the classification last year). Al-Saeed University ranked ninth among Yemeni universities and 103rd among Arab universities.

It is worth noting that the Arab classification of universities is the result of joint efforts between the Association of Arab Universities, the League of Arab States, the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), and the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils. The classification is based on four main indicators or criteria:

1) Teaching and learning index.

2) Scientific research index.

3) Creativity and Innovation Index.

4) International and local cooperation and community service index.

Each main criterion or indicator is divided into nine or ten axes according to each criterion.

This qualitative and major achievement achieved by Al Saeed University comes as a result of the efforts made by the University’s Board of Trustees and Al Saeed University family, represented by the university’s leadership, faculty members, employees, and students at the university.
