Concluding the fourth scientific forum for laboratory diagnostic medicine at Al -Saeed University and the honoring sponsors and supporters

Today, the activities of the Fourth Scientific Forum for Laboratory Diagnostic Medicine, which lasted for two days (15-16 January), with broad local and international participation has been concluded. At the conclusion, Al -Saeed University was honored for its distinguished efforts in hosting and sponsoring the forum, as the university president, Professor Sameh Al -Areeqi, received a shield of honor in appreciation of the university’s entrepreneurial role in supporting scientific and medical activities. Al -Areeqi thanked all the participants and organizers, stressing the importance of the continuation and adoption of scientific events and conferences at Al -Saeed University.
The second and final day of the forum witnessed a number of specialized scientific sessions, including:
1) Biochemistry and quality control: The first session dealt with quality control, standard operating procedures, and the quality of the test.
2) Microbiology, immunity and parasitology: The second session discussed topics such as the intestine microbiome, assessing the effects of Rosamerius oil, and a study on the spreading of the serum of toxic disease.
3) Blood diseases and blood banks: The third session dealt with the rules of the electricity of hemoglobin, resolving the puzzles in the results of CBC, and the cellular immune flow of leukemia.
4) Biochemistry and Quality Monitoring: The fourth session of MicroRNA was reviewed as a vital diagnostic indicator, genetic tests available in Yemen, and the effect of smoking on diabetes and blood pressure.
5) Microbiology, immunity and parasites: The fifth session discussed the resistance of antibiotics, urinary tract infection, and the challenges of solutions in the post -antibiotic era..
We point out in this context that, within the activities of the forum, a medical exhibition was organized by a number of medical companies from various Yemeni governorates and presented the latest devices and technologies in the field of laboratory medicine. Al -Saeed University was distinguished by its prominent role in caring for and hosting this important scientific event in its parts (the scientific forum and the medical exhibition Which reflects its commitment to promoting scientific research and community service.
