Al-Saeed University participates in a workshop that prepares a higher education strategy of 2025-2027

Al-Saeed University, represented by its President, Professor Sameh Abdel Jalil Al-Areeqi and a number of colleges deans and heads of academic departments participated in a workshop for the preparation of the higher education strategy in Yemen for the period 2025-2027 AD. The workshop, titled "Horizons and Trends", was held today in the temporary capital , Aden under the auspices of the Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak and supervised by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Khaled Al -Wasabi.
In the inauguration of the workshop, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Khaled Al -Wasabi, confirmed that the ministry will start in 2025 with a new stage that focuses on strategic planning despite the challenges. He explained that the ministry succeeded in building a qualified cadre, establishing an integrated database, and establishing new universities in the liberated areas in accordance with legal standards.
The minister pointed out that the implementing of monitoring technique contributed in Yemeni universities'achievement of advanced ranks in international and Arab classifications.( the announcement of the results of the local classification in February.) He stressed the importance of developing a clear plan to improve institutional performance and raise the quality of private education, while benefiting from artificial intelligence techniques to develop the educational process.
The workshop was attended by a number of ministry Undersecretaries and presidents of public and private universities, in addition to experts and academics. The workshop was funded by the Communication Corporation for Human Development. During the workshop, Worksheets were discussed that included experiences, fields of strategy, modern trends in higher education and strategic directions.
Al -Saeed University’s participation comes within the framework of its commitment to cooperation with the Ministry in all its distinguished work to develop higher education in Yemen and to enhance its role as a leading institution in this field.
